IHS is this month featured in Construction Plant News, in an article looking forward to the Construction Equipment Association’s (CEA) presence at the forthcoming Bauma construction machinery, vehicles and equipment exhibition, which will be hosted in Munich, Germany in April.
The IHS Pumps hydraulic machine employs an on-board computer, electronically weighing every ingredient and producing a printed ticket for every batch. IHS says that this provides a level of consistency and quality far beyond the capabilities of standard volumetric mixers and delivers the most accurate strength of mix in the sector today.
“Bauma offers an unrivalled opportunity to meet with peers, suppliers, and potential clients from throughout the construction and manufacturing industries,” said Gary Lansley, sales director, IHS Pumps. “Especially in the shadow of Brexit, it’s important for us as a leading UK producer to get out there and demonstrate that Britain is still an outward looking, international-trade orientated country and that our manufacturing is still amongst some of the best in the world.”
“IHS Pumps’ unique All-in-One concrete pumping machinery has been a revelation in the UK and helped to evolve the mix on site sector itself in developing its procedures. At Bauma, we look forward to unveiling the latest incarnation of this technology and meeting other world leaders that we can work together in partnership with.”
The last Bauma show attracted more than 500,000 visitors from 219 countries and regions around the world, with 3,425 companies exhibiting across 605,000 m² of exhibition space. The CEA will be hosting a UK Pavillion at this year’s show, in which HIS Pumps will feature.
Joanna Oliver MBE, CEA director of global programmes and organiser of the UK Pavilion at Bauma Munich said: “Despite the never-ending plot twists and dramas that surround Brexit, I’m delighted to say that we have a near record sized UK Pavilion at Bauma for 2019.”
